GRD Transport: Haulage Company Website Design Case Study

Client: GRD Transport
Industry: Heavy and abnormal load haulage
Location: London
Services: Website design, development, on-page SEO
This transport company website design project shows how we built a clear, fast website for GRD Transport, a specialist haulage company moving heavy and abnormal loads across the UK.
The Challenge
GRD Transport needed a professional online presence that matched the scale of the work it does. Haulage customers often need a quote quickly, frequently from a phone on site. The website had to explain the services in seconds and make it easy to get in touch.
What We Did
1. A Focused One-Page Design
We built a single, scrolling page with an anchor menu, so visitors jump straight to services, testimonials or contact details. There are no extra pages to get lost in.
2. Strong Visuals of Real Work
A full-width hero slider shows real loads and vehicles, with a clear headline: “Specialist Haulage You Can Trust”. Customers see the type of work GRD handles before they read a word.
3. Quote Requests at Every Step
A “Get a Quote” button stays visible in the header, and the contact form sits at the end of the page. A WhatsApp button lets customers message the team instantly from their phone.
4. Built for Mobile and Trust
The site works smoothly on every screen size. Contact details sit in the top bar, and a testimonials section shows feedback from existing customers, helping new visitors trust the business.
5. SEO Foundations
We set up clean headings, page titles, meta descriptions and image alt text, so Google understands the services from day one.
The Result
GRD Transport now has a professional website that explains its services clearly and turns visitors into enquiries, whether they arrive on a desktop in the office or a phone on site.
